Ex-NYSE President Tom Farley: “Money Will Flood” Into Bitcoin

Tom Farley, a former president of the New York Stock Exchange, said in a recent statement that Bitcoin will witness a huge inflow of capital after the approval of a Spot Exchange-Traded fund (ETF) by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). 

BTC is up more than 10% this month in anticipation of the approval of an ETF. Price of bitcoin has increased about %140 in the last year alone.

$750M in locked crypto tokens to be released by December

Around $750 million of vested digital assets are scheduled to be unlocked and released into the markets this coming December. 

Among the projects releasing locked tokens, decentralized exchange (DEX) dYdX will unlock the largest amount. The exchange is expected to unlock 150 million tokens vested for investors, founders and employees in December. The tokens are worth almost $500 million at current market prices.

Initially, the tokens issued by dYdX were supposed to be released in February. However, the exchange announced in January that the lock-up would be extended. Instead of their original release date, the tokens are now set to be unlocked on Dec. 1, 2023, at 12:00 (UTC). Following…

Bankless controversy forces founders to burn tokens and separate from DAO

Amid the ongoing controversy around cryptocurrency media Bankless and the associated decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), BanklessDAO, the founders of Bankless have suggested separating the brand from the DAO.

Bankless co-founders David Hoffman and Ryan Sean Adams plan to submit a governance proposal to BanklessDAO to separate the two entities. The co-founders took to X (formerly Twitter) on Nov. 26 to announce that they also plan to burn all of their BanklessDAO (BANK) tokens on the back of this proposal.

A Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) owner says he has managed to avoid a potentially “dreadful day” after being asked to retrieve a banana for a photo from someone they initially believed was interviewing them for Forbes.

On Nov. 27, NFT collector ‘Crumz’ detailed his run-in with a scammer  posing as a Forbes journalist.
