It’s a Solanaissance: These 5 charts will cure the Ethereum vibecession

Solana truthers would…

LATEST: Bitcoin to Triumph in 2024 with New ATHs, Forecasts Samson Mow

In an exhilarating forecast for the coming year, Samson Mow, a renowned figure in the cryptocurrency world, has made some bold predictions for 2024. Topping his list is the anticipated all-time high (ATH) of Bitcoin, with its value soaring to an unprecedented $1 million. Mow’s vision doesn’t stop there; he sees a significant shift in global finance as three nation-states are expected to implement a BTC Times strategy, signaling a growing acceptance of Bitcoin in governmental operations.

The year 2024 also seems promising for JAN3, as it is set to engage with ten additional countries, further expanding the reach and influence of Bitcoin. In the realm of digital wallets, AQUA Wallet is projected to drive a substantial increase in L-USDt volume, marking a milestone in the usability of cryptocurrencies. Additionally, the Liquid Network is set to become a mainstream player, enhancing the landscape of blockchain technology and its applications.

Furthermore, Bitfinex Securities is on track to take the financial world by storm, offering new and innovative avenues for investment. To add to the excitement, Bitcoin Bonds from three different jurisdictions are expected to emerge, offering a new form of investment tied to the ever-evolving Bitcoin market. The most significant crypto partnerships forged in 2023

Crypto partnerships continued in 2023 as companies sought to expand geographically, add capabilities or reach new audiences.

Others ended amid regulation-related concerns.

There were a range of collaborations, as some featured only crypto firms. Others involved a traditional finance player looking to get more involved in the segment by partnering with a more specialized company — a growing trend in recent months.

Traditional players wade deeper into space

More traditional financial institutions entered the crypto and blockchain segments via link-ups with segment firms, noted Alex Thorn, head of research at Galaxy Digital.

“It’s clear they increasingly understand the…

JUST IN: US SEC May Confirm Bitcoin Spot ETF Issuers Before January 10th, Reports Reuters

As the January 10 deadline approaches for the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to decide on Ark Investments and 21Shares’ proposed spot Bitcoin ETF, a recent Reuters report suggests that the SEC is poised to notify asset managers about the approval of their applications as early as next week. This move could allow firms that met the year-end deadline, including Valkyrie, Bitwise, WisdomTree, Franklin Templeton, BlackRock, VanEck, and Invesco, to launch in sync with the decision deadline.

Among the 14 asset managers vying for approval, several have already submitted detailed forms to the SEC, including sponsor fees. Fidelity stands out with the lowest proposed sponsor rate of 0.39%. However, many firms are yet to disclose their rates. This development is seen as a significant step towards attracting more institutional investment into the crypto industry. Analysts anticipate that the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs could have a substantial impact on the sector.

#Bitcoin Calendar

This Bitcoin Calendar provides a snapshot of these notable occasions throughout the year. It kicks off on January 3rd with “Bitcoin Day,” celebrating the network’s inception, followed by “Bitcoin Running Day” on January 11th to presumably promote the use of Bitcoin in everyday transactions.

“Silk Road Day” on January 27th and “Mt Gox Day” on February 24th serve as reminders of some of the more infamous episodes in cryptocurrency history. March 9th is “Cypherpunk Day,” honoring the philosophical underpinnings of Bitcoin’s creation, while April 5th celebrates “Satoshi’s Birthday,” a nod to Bitcoin’s mysterious founder.

“Lightning Day” on May 10th and “Bitcoin Pizza Day” on May 22nd commemorate technological milestones and quirky folklore, respectively. The calendar also features “Bitcoin Independence Day” on August 1st and “Bitcoin Whitepaper Day” on October 31st, both pivotal moments in Bitcoin’s ongoing story.

“Free Ross Day” on October 1st highlights the case of Ross Ulbricht, the Silk Road marketplace founder, while “Diffie-Hellman Day” on November 1st pays homage to the cryptography that secures Bitcoin. “Shitcoin Day” on November 8th and “HODL Day” on December 18th reflect the irreverent slang that permeates the crypto community. Each date encapsulates an event that has shaped the narrative and culture of Bitcoin.

For future reference or to commemorate these days, consider saving this image.
