NEW: Bitcoin Grows 8x Since Last Halving Amid Volatility, Says Anthony Pompliano

During a recent appearance on Fox News, venture capitalist Anthony Pompliano highlighted Bitcoin’s resilience and superior performance compared to traditional assets. Despite the global market downturn triggered by a major geopolitical event in the Middle East, Bitcoin has soared, outperforming traditional investments. Since the 2020 halving, where Bitcoin’s block reward decreased from 12.5 BTC to 6.25 BTC, its value has skyrocketed by approximately 8 times, from $8,000 to over $62,000, briefly touching $71,000 last Friday.

Pompliano pointed out that the sell-off affected all markets, including gold and stocks, as investors scrambled for U.S. dollars. However, Bitcoin’s unique position as a decentralized asset allowed it to significantly outpace other financial instruments in terms of growth. With another halving approaching, reducing the reward to 3.125 BTC per block, Pompliano remains bullish about Bitcoin’s potential to continue its upward trajectory, underscoring its unmatched rise in value over the past four years.
