NEW: Solana Will Become Backbone of Global Finance, Says Anthony Scaramucci

Crypto is taking center stage at the Solana Accelerate 2025 conference as Anthony Scaramucci declared Solana is not just another blockchain but the future backbone of global finance. The SkyBridge Capital founder is writing a new book called Solana Rising and says the platform could reshape traditional finance from the ground up.

Scaramucci highlighted that nearly $7 trillion is spent globally on transaction verification every year. He believes Solana’s fast and low-cost infrastructure could dramatically slash these costs. He compared Solana to Bitcoin but for real-world assets like stocks and bonds. The idea of on-chain IPOs could also remove the need for bank accounts making investing more accessible.

Institutional adoption is coming according to Scaramucci who says big players like JPMorgan are already watching closely. He predicts Solana will enable users to stake lend and earn yields just like in traditional finance. Solana Foundation leaders also believe tokenization could help make everyone an investor unlocking new opportunities for retail users worldwide.

LATEST: Bitcoin Whales Show Long-Term Confidence With Over 100 BTC Held Steadily

Bitcoin continues to show resilience as the number of addresses holding over 100 BTC remains impressively stable. As of Saturday May 24 2025 there are 18,268 such addresses a slight dip from 18,544 recorded on Sunday February 26 2017. This marginal change over more than eight years reflects long term confidence among large holders also known as whales.

The chart highlights a rapid rise in whale addresses from 2010 to 2016 peaking around late 2016 and early 2017. Despite fluctuations since then the trend has remained relatively flat indicating that major players are still committed to holding large amounts of Bitcoin. This steady base of large holders supports the idea of Bitcoin as a long term store of value. Notably a sharp increase since late December 2024 signals renewed accumulation by big players as Bitcoin’s price climbs toward $100k.

NEW: Bitcoin Price Could Climb to $140K by July, Says Raoul Pal

Bitcoin could be heading for a major rally according to Real Vision founder and macro expert Raoul Pal. Speaking to his YouTube subscribers Pal said that the global money supply also known as Global M2 is strongly linked to the price of Bitcoin. Based on current trends Pal predicts that Bitcoin could jump by around 28% in the coming weeks.

The macro expert explained that Bitcoin’s movement is being driven by liquidity rather than global events or speculation. He pointed out that earlier signals correctly predicted a correction near $75,000 in April and now show a path to new all-time highs. Pal believes Bitcoin could reach over $140,000 by July.

He added that while Bitcoin usually follows the global money supply it will eventually break away and outperform it. As more investors join the market driven by fear of missing out prices could rise faster than expected before eventually slowing when fear returns.
