Cryptocurrency bookmakers are not pricing in particularly high chances of the U.S. gaining possession of Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile anytime soon.

Polymarket Sees Aggressive Betting

Polygon (CRYPTO: POL)-based Polymarket showed a 22% possibility of this happening anytime this year, down 6 percentage points in a week.

The odds of the U.S. obtaining Iran’s nuclear dust by the end of June were only 7% as of this writing.

The bet has already garnered over $22 million. To qualify, the U.S. government or military must confirm that they have physical custody or control of the enriched uranium, regardless of whether it is held within U.S. territory or in another location.
