Robinhood announced the launch of micro futures contracts for XRP, Solana and Bitcoin Friday futures on its trading platform. This move strengthens its position as a leader in crypto derivatives and expands its total offerings to nine. The micro futures provide traders with lower capital requirements making it easier for retail investors to access crypto futures markets.

The micro XRP futures come with a contract multiplier of 2500 where a tick of 0.0005 equals $125. Micro Solana futures have a multiplier of 25 with each 0.5 tick move worth $1.25. Both contracts are cash settled and trade nearly 24 hours a day from 6 PM to 5 PM ET offering more flexibility to traders.

Robinhood recently relisted XRP Solana and Cardano on its US platform responding to growing user demand. The move aligns with broader market trends as major platforms like CME Group and Coinbase have also added new crypto futures. The company aims to attract new customers by offering more diverse trading options.
