Buterin’s vision for Ethereum doesn’t stop with The Purge; he’s also exploring further advancements, such as reevaluating precompiles and optimizing storage for historical data. A significant shift towards a simpler block structure through SimpleSerialize (SSZ) is also in the works, promising a more streamlined approach to data management.
