LATEST: TON Blockchain TVL Hits Over $300 Million Milestone

The Open Network (TON) by Telegram has seen its Total Value Locked (TVL) rise to $315 million, ten times the amount as of early March. This has largely been spurred by the success of The Open League—an initiative to reward TON’s leading decentralized apps—alongside major exchanges, Ston.fi and Dedust, and staking projects such as Tonstakers and Bemo.

This was again further proven a little earlier by the strength and failure resistance of TON’s architecture, when 1 million more wallets were added without the network failing or slowing down during the token generation event for the viral Telegram Mini App game Notcoin. The event gives a strong indication of the network’s seamless capability to operate under massive loads of transactions.

The continued developments and the very heavy investment from Pantera do tell that the future of TON is very promising, being placed as a leading player in blockchain. This reflects a growing confidence in cryptocurrency as an unstable and lucrative investment frontier.
