Bitcoin (BTC) has surpassed the $41,000 mark for the first time since April 2022, exhibiting a growth of approximately 3% in the last 24 hours. The cryptocurrency experienced a sharp rise from just below $39,500, crossing the $41,000 threshold on Dec. 4. This milestone sets a new year-to-date high for Bitcoin, which has seen an impressive increase of over 145% since the beginning of the year. Over the past 12 months, Bitcoin’s price trajectory has been remarkable, escalating from under $17,000.
In a recent analysis dated Nov. 30, Matrixport projected that Bitcoin’s value could exceed $60,000 by April of the following year, with a potential peak of $125,000 by the end of 2024.
